About Raleigh Edu Funding and our data

Raleigh Edu Funding is a family-side guide to paying for private school in the Triangle, built on public records instead of school marketing.

North Carolina funds private school at every income level, yet the pieces a family needs are spread across several places: tier amounts in one NCSEAA document, the schools that can be paid in a separate table, enrollment and affiliation in a federal survey, and pre-K rules that differ county by county. Raleigh Edu Funding joins those sources for Wake, Johnston, Durham and Orange counties.

Each funding check is read by a person, who then calls from (984) 468-5445 or writes back by email. Where a school or organization has a partner relationship with us, the page says so, and it never shapes the programs we recommend.

Where does the school data come from?

Two bulk sources, joined with code. The NCES Private School Survey (2023-24, plus 2021-22 rows for schools that skipped the latest round) gives us 120 schools, each with its street address, grade span, religious tie, program type, headcounts and association memberships. The NCSEAA Direct Payment Schools table for 2026-27, downloaded October 30, 2026, has 822 rows statewide and 133 in the four counties. We matched 80 of those to federal records by name within each county and checked the close calls by hand; the other 53 appear with name and town only. 40 federal-survey schools did not match the state table.

Award amounts and income limits are NCSEAA's published 2026-27 figures. ESA+ rules come from NCSEAA's 2026-2027 parent guide to allowable expenses and its program rules page. Neither school source reports tuition, and the state table does not show accreditation, so we show neither. If you spot an error, email hello@raleighedufunding.com and we will check it against the source.

Raleigh Edu Funding is run by Boss Leads. Boss Leads is not affiliated with NCSEAA, with any school or with any public agency.
